According to Dr. Sebi and the Usha Herbal Research Institute, the bioaccumulation of toxins, acids and mucus creates imbalance in the body and can lead to “severe nutritional deficiency” and “free radical cellular damage” in addition to the following signs and symptoms.

Lack of energy and fatigue

Feeling abnormally tired and lethargic, with a stronger urge to sleep than to be up and moving about, even after adequate rest has been attained. Lack of energy and/or fatigue can interfere with regular daytime activity, and can have a number accompanying symptoms, including headache, dizziness, muscle pain, slow response time, brain fog, and irritability.

Dull skin tone

Dull skin appears uneven, dry, congested, and unhealthy. It results from a surface buildup of dead skin cells when the skin is not exfoliating in a normal and healthy manner to make room for new skin cell growth.

Skin irritations and sensitivity

Skin that is irritated or hypersensitive often develops redness, swelling, and/or rash. Skin irritations can be painful and/or itchy, and may even blister. This symptom is often a result of an allergic reaction to topical or
ingested substances.

Headaches

Headaches comprise any pain in the cranial region, which can range from a dull, generalized ache, to severe, sharp or throbbing pain. Head and neck muscles may be tight and, in some cases, nausea, as well as, sensitivity to light and sound, may be experienced.

Foggy memory/concentration

Brain fog is the inability to focus on, or recall, anything specific. Thinking feels like a struggle and results in confusion and disorganized thoughts, making it difficult to remember simple, everyday information.

Flat (dull) iris color

The iris is the ring-shaped, colored part of the eye. A dull iris appears lackluster, with muted color. Dull eyes can be the result of an inadequate amount of sleep, or dryness and strain due to overexertion, such as staring at a computer screen for many hours.

High body, breath, urine or stool odor

High odor in the body, breath, urine, and stool can all be caused by a variety of underlying illness. Foul odors can indicate infection, while sweet odors, especially of the breath and the urine, may indicate high blood sugar, also called diabetes.

Overeating and/or weight gain

Overeating is characterized by eating beyond the point of fullness and daily nutritional needs. Weight gain, an excess accumulation of body fat, is often the result of overeating, but it can also occur for other reasons unrelated to food.

High Cholesterol

High cholesterol is when the blood has elevated levels of the type of cholesterol that is carried by low density lipoprotein, commonly known as LDL cholesterol. High cholesterol can build up in the arteries and lead to heart attacks and strokes.

Sluggish/Stressed Nervous system

A stressed or sluggish nervous system can be thought of as a short circuit. The nervous system will not function normally, causing tingling and numbness in the extremities, muscle weakness, sudden or unusual
movements and/or tremors, and change in gait or other usual body movements.

Poor circulation and numbness

Poor circulation is caused by lack of blood flow throughout the body. Tingling and loss of feeling, especially in the fingers, toes, and extremities is a symptom of poor circulation, which can result in permanent damage
if left untreated.

Joint & Muscle Pain

Stiffness and soreness in the muscles and joints, especially upon movement, can be the symptoms of overexertion, injury, or underlying disease, including influenza and autoimmune diseases, such as arthritis.

Hormonal imbalance(s)

Hormones are chemicals produced by the body to carry out vital functions. Hormonal imbalances occur when the blood has too much or not enough of a certain hormone or hormones. Hormonal imbalances can produce multiple symptoms, including weight gain or loss, fatigue, dry skin, and headaches.

Poor Lymphatic function

The lymphatic system drains and circulates fluid from the tissues and throughout the body. When the lymphatic system isn’t functioning properly, fluid builds up in the tissues of the body, resulting in swelling, known as lymphedema.

Cysts, lumps or fibrous tissue manifestations

Lumps are formations of tissue that feel hard and fibrous compared to the surrounding tissues. Sometimes lumps may be classified as cysts, which are distinguished by a sac containing fluid, pus, or other tissue, and can develop nearly anywhere in the body.

Insomnia

Insomnia is characterized by the inability to fall asleep, or to stay asleep for adequate periods of time, resulting in severe fatigue and other health problems. Insomnia may occur due to medication use, a chemical imbalance, or other underlying health issues.

Enzyme deficiency

An enzyme deficiency happens when the body cannot make specific bile acids, causing toxins to build up in the body. Poor muscle coordination, slurred speech, problems with concentration, hypersensitivity to touch,
trouble swallowing, and enlarged spleen and liver are symptoms of an enzyme deficiency.

Toxemia

Toxemia is more commonly known as blood poisoning, and is the result of toxins entering the bloodstream from a local site of infection in the body. Symptoms of toxemia may include chills, fever, tachycardia, and hyperventilation.
